chance to bat.
● The next time the team is up to bat they should rotate their lineup so everyone has a
chance to lead off.
Fielding
● Suggested fielding positions:
○ The pitcher: does not pitch but stands in the area of the pitcher to field balls hit in
that area.

more players they should be spaced around the infield.

coach pitch is considered a strike. Any 3 strike combination and the batter is out. The
only exception is on a 3rd strike foul ball, in that case the batter keeps their at-bat.
● A batter hit by a coach does not receive a base, and that pitch does not count as a
strike. It is considered a no pitch and the at bat continues with the current count.
● A batter hit by a pitch from a player pitcher is awarded first base.

continue to advance until the ball is in control of the pitcher in the pitcher’s circle.
● Once the pitcher is in control of the ball within the pitcher’s circle, the base-runner must
stop advancement at the base they are advancing to. If the pitcher “looks back” the
runner and they stop, they must go back. If they do not immediately return to their base,
the penalty is an out. The only exception is, if a pitcher fakes a throw or makes a throw
to the base the runner is returning to.
